Built by builders,
for builders
With over 50 years of combined experience in home building and commercial construction, our founding team knows the reality of a chaotic jobsite all too well. Early mornings, late nights, and the constant juggling act of keeping trades, suppliers, and owners on the same page.
For years, we managed complex projects through a messy web of group texts, phone calls, and endless email chains. Critical updates got buried. Schedules slipped. Margins shrank because the right information wasn't in the right hands at the right time.
"We were spending more time chasing down updates in group texts and digging through emails than actually building."
The frustration peaked when we realized the "solutions" out there were part of the problem. Traditional construction management software was clunky, required hours of training, and was built for the office—not the field. Our crews wouldn't use it. They just wanted to text.
So we asked: what if we could turn the natural way people communicate—chat—into accountable work? What if a simple message could automatically organize photos, track progress, and build a project-ready record without anyone filling out a cumbersome form?
That's how TaskTag was born. We didn't build it in a tech hub. We built it on the jobsite. We stripped away the bloat and focused on what actually matters: connecting the field to the office instantly, keeping proof where it belongs, and making sure everyone knows exactly what needs to happen next.
